    • Boundaries for Performers

    • Creative Communication and Critique

    • An Ethical Pedagogy of Touch

    • Trauma-Informed Performance Process

See our full workshop deck with descriptions of our offerings.

Can be tailored for students, faculty, or professionals.

Conversations around consent are essential for any educator, especially performers. The consent workshop offered launched a much larger conversation for young artists who are now thinking critically about consent and agency in and out of the studio.

Workshop FAQs

  1. What are the prices?

    1. Prices vary depending on the length of the workshop, the number of people involved, and other factors. Most workshops run between $250 and $500. As we are a non-profit, making these accessible is very important to us, and we will work with your budget to create a workshop that fits your needs. Email to inquire.

  2. Are workshops virtual or in-person?

    2. It’s up to you! We can do either or both!

  3. What do I get with a workshop?

    3. Whether your workshop is virtual or in-person, you get the same great content. All of our workshops are interactive. After the workshop, you will receive all

the slides used in the presentation. With some of our workshops, you also get to schedule a 90min follow-up session, scheduled 1 to 6 months after the

workshop, to discuss your needs and discoveries with your learning.

  4. Who leads the workshops?

    4. Many of our workshops are led by Nicole Perry (learn more about Nicole here). However, all of our past instructors are available for workshops! Our

instructors are also located around the world. We will do our best to support in-person requests in an affordable manner. Email us to inquire about

    availability.

  5. I was looking for an Intimacy workshop. Do you offer those?

    5. Only a “what is it” level. Because Nicole also works with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) as a Teaching Artist, we do not offer in-depth, Intimacy

specific workshops. However, many of our workshops support Intimacy professionals in their self-study work, and Momentum Stage is proud to be a resource

for IDC. Our power, consent, trauma-informed, and cultural competency workshops are support intimacy work. All of our movement based workshops support

    embodied story-telling and choreographic skills.
