WELCOME TO LABAN FOR ACTORS!
THIS COURSE IS MEANT FOR ACTORS OF ALL LEVELS TO EXPLORE WHAT THE LABAN/BARTENIEFF MOVEMENT SYSTEM CAN OFFER THEM AS MOVERS AND PERFORMERS.
This course is delivered entirely online and contains approximately 3 hours of video, movement, and reflective material. Explores the categories of Effort, Shape, and Space, the meaning-making properties of movement, and notation for blocking.
Materials Needed:
A device to view the videos for the course
A small bit of space (big enough to reach our arms out fully and lay down in)
A notebook or journal and something to write with to record your observations and sensations, as well as answers to the Reflection Questions asked in many of the modules.
Upon purchase, a downloadable file will be sent that includes the link and password to the online course. Please save the information in a secondary way, as the file will be inaccessible after 24 hours.
