Stephon Duncan (3).jpg

Stephon Duncan is a professional actor born and raised in South Florida. She has a BA in Theatre Design and Technology and Intercultural Communication from Florida Atlantic University. Stephon has been involved with the performing arts for over 10 years. She has experience with all aspects of theatre, be it on the stage or behind the stage. She currently works at the Miami Children's Museum as part of the resident theatre troupe. There she puts on shows for the guests and performs interactive storytime with the kids. She has experience with teaching improv and acting to both children and adults. She is currently playing with a few improv troupes, virtually, all throughout south Florida and participating in a few stage readings.

Ernesto Gonzalez is a BFA Performance Graduate from Florida International University and a Puerto Rico native. Currently performing in Jacksonville in a production of Art Heist, which he was a Swing for in Jacksonville. His most recent pre-pandemic performance credit was in The Amparo Experience, which had a very successful 8 month run in Downtown Miami in 2019. In 2020 he was part of multiple Zoom readings. Past South Florida performance credits include: 35 MM: A Musical Exhibition, Next to Normal, Miami Motel Stories: Little Havana, Twelfth Night, & Company. He’s very grateful to all his friends and family for everything.

Aletta Kemp is a singer/actress in South Florida. She graduated from the University of West Florida in May 2018 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, and has been seen in various productions in South Florida from Jupiter to Miami. Some Favorite credits include playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, as well as performing as a soloist on The Polar Express Train Ride. She loves singing and acting, stage combat and Shakespeare. Aletta’s most fervent passion is fighting human trafficking as a lead on the volunteer teams at Project Micah 6:8 and Operation Underground Railroad. She is thankful to have the opportunity to act the words of such an imaginative and brilliant playwright, and hopes that her performance helps everyone watching to find the courage and space to just… be.

Susie Kreitman Taylor is a performance artist, healed actor, movement instructor, writer, creator of the SURF acting Method, and the owner of THE CREATIVE SHELTER. Her acting career spans the globe. Her work has appeared at film festivals such as Sundance and Cannes, and on TV with Showtime, Netflix, and Amazon. On stage, her work in MIami, New York, Massachusetts and Edinburgh have consistently received rave reviews. Her one-woman show Jewbana premiered at the Fringe in Edinburgh to “excellent” reviews. Taylor is a native of Miami and studied theater at NWSA High School, Penn State, and Webber Douglas, UK.

Kimie Muroya | 室屋季美恵 (she/her) is a Philadelphia based actor, a founding member of Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists and has performed regionally with such theatres as InterAct Theatre Company, Philadelphia Artists' Collective, Shakespeare in Clark Park, Theatre Exile, and more. Since theatres closed, she's pivoted to online/virtual theatre, performing with Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Hollins University, and Elephant Room Productions. Her feature film debut, Antarctica, premiered at the 2020 Raindance Film Festival in London and is now available on Amazon Prime. Thanks to Mom, Otosan (父), Mikito and Kayla for all their love and support! Upcoming: Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona at Hedgerow Theatre. As always, Black Lives MATTER.

Stephanny Noria is a proud Venezuelan-Lebanese performer happy to be performing once more. Favorite show credits include In the Heights (Measure for Measure), Spring Awakening (Slow Burn), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Quincy Music Theatre), 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Measure for Measure), Secret Garden (Slow Burn), and Nine (Broward Stage Door). Marlo Rodriguez (she/her) is a South Florida actress and emerging director with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance at Florida Atlantic University. Her recent acting work includes  Black Mexican (Theatre Lab), Last Night in Inwood (Theatre Lab), Live to Tell (Palm Beach Dramaworks), Yo Soy Latina (Empire Stage), Crumbs From the Table of Joy (*Assistant Director, FAU), and No Child (*Co-director, FAU). As a founding member of The Black Undergraduate Theatre Collective at FAU, Marlo continues to strive and advocate for diversity and equity in theatre. Marlo is thrilled to be working with Momentum Stage for a night of creativity and storytelling!

Playwright: Ricardo Soltero-Brown

Ricardo Soltero-Brown is a playwright, actor, and director; a graduate of the University of South Florida, where THE JACKET was staged; a winner of the Florida Playwrights Competition for JEALOUSY (Valencia College; Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, Jeremy Seghers); a former apprentice at Horizon Theatre Company, where THE AMBASSADOR, OR: THE DISARMAMENT OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS and NOTHING BUT CHEESE were performed. THE PRINCESS OF CASPIA had a staged reading at Dixon Place. SICK DAY was presented as a reading at the Dramatists Guild's Equality Festival (freeFall Theatre). TO THE TEST was presented by Quarantine Players. Other works, including BELDAM & GAFFER (Pipsqueak Collective), GRIEF, and THE LAST PLAY (Jeremy Seghers), have been performed at various colleges, theatres, and festivals. Ricardo Soltero-Brown is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.

Carey Brianna Hart is a native Floridian born in Miami. She graduated from the New World School of the Arts. She continued her theatrical education studying Acting, Playwriting and Directing in Chicago, Illinois at the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Studies. After graduation, Carey returned to Miami to share her love of theatre with the children of the Miami Dade County Public Schools System as a drama teacher. After leaving the school system, she has continued to work with junior and high school students on a one-on-one basis giving private acting lessons and coaching for magnet programs and college auditions. She has also taught with the Children’s Theatre Programs of the AreaStage and M Ensemble Theatre Company. Carey has worked on stage and backstage in South Florida theatre in productions by the African American Performing Arts Community Theatre, AreaStage, CityTheatre, GableStage, M Ensemble Theatre Company, Mad Cat, New Theatre, Thinking Cap Theatre, the Vinnette Carroll Theatre and the Women’s Theatre Project. Carey has worked actively with the Afro-Academic Cultural Technological & Scientific Olympics, mentoring students in Drama, Playwriting, Oratory and Poetry. She has coached numerous students who have become NAACP National ACT-SO Medalists. She has directed productions of Sisters, Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery, Tears A Sister Cries and a live theatrical series she wrote called Whiskey Redemption. She is also the author of Dust Tracks, a one-woman show of Zora Neale Hurston. Carey seeks to continue contributing to the Artistic Landscape of the World.

Daimien J. Matherson (he/him) is an alumni of Nova Southeastern University earning a BA in Theatre with a minor in Music and an MS in Education Law. He is now nearly complete with his New Play Directing Certificate. He is the owner of Measure for Measure Theatre currently based in South Florida. He is committed to inclusion and diversity with his company and in his own personal artistic journey. Daimien's ultimate goal is to help as many voices to be heard as possible.

Nicole Perry (she/her) is an intimacy choreographer and coordinator, as well as director and choreographer in South Florida. Recent credits include Imagine: a Journey in Dance at the Kravis Center, and choreography and intimacy choreography for the US premiere of The Glass Piano at Theatre Lab. She is the resident intimacy choreographer at Measure for Measure Theatre. Nicole is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst through Integrated Movement Studies. Her final project connected L/BMS concepts and vocabulary with Intimacy Choreography. Nicole provides guest teaching in Laban for Theatre and/or Dance, as well as Consent for Performers and Power Dynamics in the Rehearsal Room, through Momentum Stage. Nicole founded this non-profit to provide affordable resources for performing artists/teachers. Nicole teaches dance at the University of Miami and a public middle school. She is a member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and the Association of Theatre Movement  Educators. She apprenticed with Intimacy Directors International.
