A new 4-week course as part of our “Expansion Pack Series”. This course is meant for those who have taken Emilio’s introductory workshop “Creating with Cultural Competency” with Momentum in June or September 2022 or February 2023, or somewhere else.

You’ve learned the difference between color-blind, color-conscious, and culturally competent productions, and are ready to start taking the next steps.

How do you go about taking steps to cultivate a more culturally competent production? How do you find the right team? How do you make a welcoming casting notice? Learn with Emilio Rodriguez, founding Artistic Director of Black and Brown Theatre some helpful tools to making your production something your organization and your community can be proud of.

Over these 4 weeks you will create a tangible action plan for steps to build a more inclusive team, including how to draft a more detailed and welcoming casting notice.
